Live Seville the way Sevillians do, with one of them by your side.
One velada, your party only: four unhurried hours with us, in our city, at lunchtime or in the evening. The streets, the bars and the stories of the Seville we grew up in: its rhythm, its people, its corners. No flag, no microphone, no group of twenty strangers.
€750 for two, food and drinks included
Choose your dayHow your velada goes
We call it a velada: time set aside for good food, conversation and company. Yours lasts four hours, at lunchtime or in the evening: walking, stopping, seeing the city the way we live it, and eating along the way.
Before you arrive
After booking you tell us what you love, what you avoid and what you're celebrating. We shape the route around you.
The velada
Your host picks you up at the door of your hotel or apartment and walks you through three or four bars, at least two of them sitting down. They order, they talk to the people behind the bar, and between stops they tell you the city they grew up in: the stories you won't hear on a tour.
The last stop
We finish at a last stop we keep for our guests, revealed on the day. For the next two days, from 10:00 to 21:00, we answer your questions on WhatsApp: where to eat tomorrow, which queue is worth it.
Who's behind The Real City
Paula and Ramón, out in our city. These are the bars, corners and evenings we've been sharing for years, and the ones we want to share with you.
A host, not a guide
We're Sevillians who know the city's streets and bars the way you know your own neighbourhood. No scripts, no speeches: we take you out the way we'd take out a friend visiting from abroad.

Questions
What food and drink is included?
Food and drink at every stop, within a shared allowance for your whole party that comfortably covers a long tapas velada. Tell us what you fancy: your host helps you choose and takes care of the ordering across the stops. Anything outside the allowance is only ordered with your OK. Anything extra you'd like on top, like a special bottle, you pay directly at the bar. The exact amount is in our booking terms.
Are entrance fees to monuments or shows included?
No. The price covers your velada, your host and the food and drink on the route, but not tickets to monuments, museums or shows. If you'd like to add a visit, we agree it with you on WhatsApp, send you a secure link to pay for the tickets at their exact price, and book them in your name. We don't add any margin.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. Tapas bars in Seville are full of families at lunchtime and in the evening. We adapt the route and the food for them, and children under 6 come free.
We have allergies or don't eat certain things.
Tell us after booking and we plan the route around it. Vegetarian, gluten-free and most allergies are easy in Seville if we know in advance. For a severe allergy, write to us before booking so we can check we can look after you properly: traditional bars can't guarantee an allergen-free kitchen.
What languages do you speak?
English and Spanish on every velada. Ask us for French, German or Italian and we'll tell you when you book.
Where do we meet?
Your host waits for you outside the door of your hotel or apartment, anywhere in the city of Seville. Staying outside the city? We meet at a central spot and tell you the easiest way to get there. The day before, we send you a photo of your host so you can recognise them.
What time does it start?
You choose the pick-up time when you book: between 12:30 and 13:30 for a lunchtime velada, between 18:00 and 20:30 for an evening one. If your plans shift on the day, tell us and your host adapts.
When do Sevillians go out to eat?
Late. Lunch runs from about 14:00 to 16:00 and dinner from about 21:00, so a velada that starts around 13:00 or 20:00 puts you in the bars at their busiest and best. Some of the places worth going to only take a few bookings; we make those reservations for you.
How much walking is there?
Easy walking with plenty of stops, around three kilometres in four hours. If someone in your party needs it, we plan a route with fewer steps.
Can you come with us to something else during our stay?
Yes. Tell us what you have planned when you book and tick the box for a quote. We come along as a local friend and take care of the practical side, tickets included: we send you a secure link to pay for them at their exact price and book them in your name. Inside monuments, the explaining is done by official guides, and we can book one for you.
When in our trip should we book it?
On your first or second day. You'll get your bearings, find the places you'll want to go back to, and for the next two days we're on WhatsApp to help you make the most of the rest of your stay.
How far ahead should we book?
At least 24 hours before your velada. If your velada is less than 48 hours away, we confirm everything within 2 hours of booking. In spring and around Holy Week and the April Fair, book as early as you can.
Book your velada
